Holistic Approach
We Take a Holistic Approach to Our Buildings.
The building never stops at the conditioned space (unless, thankfully, you’re calculating property taxes). We approach the site and building design as one whole within a collaborative process between client, architect and consultants. Need an example? Integrated design is a lot like the holistic medical practice that gets to know patients and their lifestyles so it can offer long-term wellness over short-term treatments.
The way we see it, there’s no better approach to solving a problem than investigating the system that gives rise to it. Our investigation has three aspects: Social, environmental and economic. We refer to this triple bottom-line approach as full-scale architecture, and it’s the mindset that flows through our business and into our designs.
